Order Heidi by Johanna Spyri
When Heidi arrives in the city, she goes to live with a wealthy family that her aunt found. She wanted her to live with them and for that family to adopt her.
In the city life is different. Heidi makes friends with the daughter of the owner of the house. Her name is Clara, and she is disabled. Clara taught Heidi how to read.
But one day Heidi gets sick. She started to sleep walk during the night; she also refused to eat her food.
The doctor recommends that Heidi goes back to the mountains.
When Heidi finally arrived at her grandfather’s house, she was full of excitement. After two days in the mountain, Heidi’s sickness started to get cured.
Then Heidi got a message that said Clara { her friend } was coming to the mountain. But then instead of Clara coming the doctor came.
He said Clara could not come because of how sick she is. But when he got back to the city he said the mountain air could help Clara.
So a couple of days later Clara ended up coming to the mountain. Clara also felt better in the fresh air, and she suddenly started to walk.
The main idea of the book is that friendship is important and when people are together it brings happiness and health.
